General

  • Not at all. While we work closely with business owners and government, we also support individuals with complex tax needs, wealth-building strategies and SMSF compliance.

  • If you value proactive advice, strategic insight and real relationships – not just transactions – then we’ll probably get along just fine. We recommend booking a no-cost initial appointment (with a donation to one of our partner charities).

  • Nothing. We don’t charge for our initial appointments. Instead, we ask that you make a tax-deductible donation to one of our local charity partners – a small gesture that helps us make a bigger impact together.

  • No. Every client’s situation is different, so we tailor pricing to your needs – not your success. Our pricing is fair, transparent and based on the value we deliver.

  • That depends on the scope and frequency of our engagement – from fixed fees to retained advisory or project-based billing. We’ll always agree upfront and avoid surprises.

  • You’ll find us at Level 2, 16 National Circuit, Barton, in the offices attached to the National Press Club.
    Parking options include limited onsite bays, street parking or one hour free in the Hotel Realm basement car park.

  • Yes. While we're based in Canberra, we work with clients across Australia and can support you entirely remotely or in a hybrid model.

  • Absolutely. We support businesses at every stage – from pre-launch through to exit. We help you structure for success from day one and provide the clarity, strategy and support needed to scale with confidence. Our team has personally founded, launched and grown ventures across hospitality, FMCG and retail – so you’ll be working with people who’ve lived it, not just advised on it.

Accounting Support

  • Yes – technology helps, but it doesn’t replace judgment. We bring accuracy, insight and structure to your numbers so you can make better decisions and stay compliant.

  • Absolutely. We can fully outsource your accounting support or work alongside your internal team to provide overflow capacity, system optimisation or targeted support.

  • Yes. We offer end-to-end bookkeeping support, including managing payables, receivables and reconciliations – tailored to your business systems and workflows.

  • We support weekly, fortnightly or monthly payroll cycles – depending on your business needs. We also handle all associated compliance, including STP Phase 2, superannuation and payroll tax.

  • Yes – we manage payroll for all employment types, including casuals, contractors and salaried staff. We also assist with award interpretation and Fair Work compliance.

  • We provide on-demand access to senior financial expertise – budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and financial governance – without the overhead of a full-time CFO.

  • Yes. We prepare board packs, management reporting and performance dashboards that provide meaningful insight for decision-making.

Advisory - Business

  • If you think it’s important, bring it. The more context – financials, background, goals – the better we can support you from the start.

  • If you’re facing a decision and aren’t sure about the financial impact – that’s the time. The earlier we’re involved, the more value we can add.

  • Not at all. We prefer to connect with clients at least three times a year. The more we’re across, the more we can support.

  • Relationships matter. You’ll always have a direct line to one of our Directors, plus at least one other team member who knows your world. You're never just a number here.

  • Absolutely – and thank you.
    If they’re building something, navigating complexity or planning for the future, we’d love to meet them. We work best with those operating through a structure (like a trust or company), but we’re always happy to connect and see if we’re the right fit. And if we’re not, we’ll still point them in the right direction.

Recruit

  • No. While we specialise in Commonwealth recruitment, we also support commercial sector clients with tailored recruitment across both contract and permanent roles.

  • Yes. We provide complete contractor management – including onboarding, payroll, tax compliance and reporting – backed by our Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent credentials.

  • Yes. Through our Bring-Your-Own (BYO) Contract model, we handle onboarding, payroll, compliance and insurance – even if you’ve sourced the candidate yourself.

  • We offer flexible models, including flat-fee, percentage-based and contractor margin structures – tailored to your needs and role type.

Self-Managed Super Funds

  • Yes. We manage the end-to-end setup process, including registrations, , investment strategy and trustee documentation, and rollover of existing super.

  • We don’t provide specific investment advice. However, we work closely with your financial adviser or planner to ensure your fund is compliant and well-structured.

  • Yes. We manage all compliance and reporting obligations, including annual returns, audits, member statements and ATO lodgements.

  • Yes. While we don’t provide legal advice, we assist with binding death benefit nominations, succession planning and working with your lawyer to align your estate goals.

Tax

  • Both. We handle all aspects of tax compliance and also provide strategic tax advisory – including structuring, CGT planning and risk management.

  • We focus on structuring your affairs correctly, identifying tax opportunities and ensuring full compliance while reducing your tax burden over time.

  • Absolutely. While tax compliance is a core offering, we add the most value through proactive, strategic advisory – from structuring and planning to business growth, consulting and succession support.

  • Yes. We prepare returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs – including property, shares and other investments.

  • Yes. We provide CGT planning and reporting support to help you minimise tax on asset sales while remaining compliant.

  • Yes. We manage ATO communications, help you respond to notices and can represent you during reviews or audits.
